A bespoke commission begins with a feeling — a ceiling height, a sightline, a material the architect has fallen for. We draw and model luminaires that answer those specifics exactly, then engineer them to be safe, serviceable and beautiful for decades. Nothing is borrowed from a catalogue; every dimension is decided for the space it will hang in.
Craft and engineering under one roof
Our makers work in brass, glass, alabaster, blown and cast forms alongside our electrical engineers. That closeness means a sketch becomes a working prototype quickly, and details such as dimming behaviour, glare control and heat management are resolved before a single fitting is signed off.
Documented for delivery
Each commission is fully documented — shop drawings, photometric data, finish samples and installation guidance — so your builder and electrician can install with confidence and the piece can be maintained long after handover.

The process
Three steps from brief to delivery
Brief & concept
We meet on site or over drawings to understand the space, mood and constraints, then return with concept sketches and references.
Prototype & refine
Approved concepts become samples and prototypes. We test light, finish and scale together and refine until it is right.
Make & install
The piece is hand-built in our workshop, documented and delivered, with our team supporting installation and commissioning.
